Rigorous technical standards, reinforced with engineering solutions to ensure that the workplace is safe for associates, remain the foundation of HSE performance. Novartis proactively fosters and encourages a strong culture of safe behavior and on-site health promotion. At the same time, the Occupational Medicine department offers proactive programs to maintain health, reduce absenteeism and enhance motivation to return to work after injury or illness.
