Training and development
Our focus on training and development is another facet of our commitment to career advancement for our associates. Our learning programs provide a common language across the company when it comes to development and learning goals, and allow associates to transfer their skills across geographic, organizational and functional boundaries.
At Novartis, we invest in talent at all levels with our programs, which cover everything from language skills through general leadership courses to function-specific training programs in areas such as marketing, development or finance.

We train more than 4 500 people every year in general management courses. In fact, more than 600 courses are offered worldwide. A recently launched search engine on our Global Learning Intranet site helps associates find appropriate courses quickly.
