Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development launches a new website
July 2, 2007 - Today, the Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development launches its new website. The aim of the redesigned channel is to inform and engage visitors about the work of the Foundation, as well as to share the benefits of the knowledge it has acquired through its various activities. The site will also serve to strengthen the impact of the Foundation as it continues to create a healthier future for the poor in developing countries.
The redesigned website houses:
- A new “look”: On the site, the Foundation’s link to Novartis is portrayed as separate yet intertwined. In using Novartis corporate design, an emphasis is put on the Foundation’s role in the company’s commitment to good corporate citizenship. Other design elements demonstrate the Foundation’s independence from day-to-day business at Novartis.
- User-friendly navigation: Listening to the diverse perspectives of users, the site was given a clear, meaningful structure that makes its navigation easy and user-friendly.
- Easy access to publications: In the Publications section, the visitor will find all of the Foundation's reports on subjects such as fighting poverty and disease, access to healthcare services and corporate ethics. Simple search functions enable the selection for publications by title, author, year, type of publication or topic.
- Voices of people from the field: A new section portrays individuals who benefit directly from the Foundation’s projects or are involved in the field.
